Westfield is the ideal setting for weddings, offering couples one
convenient location for their ceremony and
reception. Ceremonies may be held in one of two 19th century
churches and for the reception, there is the renovated Ironwood
Hall.

 The Setting
Westfield Heritage Village
has over thirty historic buildings, relocated from various sites
around southern Ontario, forming a quaint Victorian village. The
village sits on a 39 acre site surrounded by an additional 324
acres of unspoiled natural woodlands and meadows with several
nature trails. Westfield's halls and churches are available for
weddings, church picnics, family gatherings and business
functions. The village is located within minutes of Hamilton and
Kitchener-Waterloo and has plenty of free parking.

Seminars, Retreats & Social Gatherings
Westfield provides the perfect site for business functions and
social gatherings. Seminars, workshops, church picnics and family
celebrations can be held in The Ironwood Hall.
Arrangements may also be made to use Westfield's park setting for
outdoor activities.

 The Ironwood Hall
Named after the Ironwood
tree it surrounds, The Ironwood Hall, with its old-fashioned
ambience, offers the modern conveniences of air conditioning,
full kitchen facilities and is wheelchair accessible. Seating capacity of the hall is 110.
 Mountsberg Church
Built in 1854, it has been restored highlighting its original
charm with a delightful pink and gray interior, hand painted banner, hardwood
floor, chandeliers and piano. A well hidden heating system has been
installed to ensure your comfort on cooler days or open the windows when days
are warmer. Hydro is available in the church.
 Log Church
Nestled beside a log cabin
and trading post in a secluded niche of Westfield's village, this
rustic church can accommodate a cozy party of 35 and is an
excellent location for a spring, summer or early fall wedding. Rehearsals are easily arranged.
In all cases, a $200.00 damage deposit is required prior to the
facility being opened. The deposit is refundable providing that there is
no damage to the building or its contents and that they are left
in good order. Liability insurance is also required and can easily be
purchased through the Hamilton Conservation Authority. Alcohol may
be served when all necessary paperwork is in place.

Westfield Heritage Village provides a unique setting which
includes a covered "kissing" bridge, log buildings, Victorian
Bandstand, Railway Station, Steam Locomotive 103, General Store, meadows and
forests.
